3. Call the blood bank listed in your area and ask if they are accredited by the AABB. This agency makes sure each site uses clean, honest, and safe donation practices.

4. Visit the blood bank to set up an appointment. Of course you can do it over the phone as well, but visiting the physical location will allow you to see the facility in person to make sure you feel comfortable in that atmosphere.
