How to Close and End Your MySpace Account Forever
If you've spent any time on the Internet, it's likely you have joined multiple social networking sites. If you signed up for a MySpace account but can't remember the last time you logged in, then it may be time to close your account. MySpace makes sure you want to close your account by giving you numerous chances to change your mind during the cancellation process. However, once you complete the process, your account will be closed forever.

Log in to your MySpace account.

Click "My Stuff" at the top of the page. A drop-down menu appears.

Click "Account Settings" under the "Account" heading.

Click "Cancel Account" from the menu on the left under the "Account Settings & Privacy" heading.

Click the "Cancel Account" button next to "Want to Cancel Your MySpace Account?"

Click the radio button next to the reason why you want to cancel the account and click "Cancel Account." A pop-up appears with information regarding your reason and how to rectify it. Click "Cancel Account" in the pop up.

Type any comments you wish to leave for MySpace in the text field provided and click "Cancel Account."

Check the email you used to register your MySpace with. Open the email from MySpace and click the confirmation link. Clicking the link brings you back to MySpace.

Enter your email address in the text field next to "Confirm Email Address" and click "Cancel Account."
