Here's how to change your MySpace settings so other users won't see an Orange Icon that says Online Now! below your picture every time you log in.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Log in to your MySpace account.

  2. Step 2

    On the top right of the page, next to the Sign Out button, click the button that says My Account.

  3. Step 3

    This takes you to a page that says Settings: Contact Info.

  4. Step 4

    In the Settings menu bar, click on the link that says Privacy,

  5. Step 5

    This takes you to a page that says Settings: Privacy.

  6. Step 6

    There is a checkbox next to the text Show people when I am online.

  7. Step 7

    Uncheck the box.

  8. Step 8

    The icon will no longer appear when you log in.
