How to Kill Other Species in the Creature Phase of Spore
There are some species you will encounter which simply cannot be reasoned with. You can try to communicate with them, but they are simply too aggressive. If they aren't attacking your creatures, they are attacking your allies. There is only one way to deal with such creatures.

1
Make sure you're ready for a fight. If your creatures have not evolved any defense mechanisms, make that your first priority. At the very least, your creature will need a mouth to attack with (you should already have this.) Add some claws, spikes or horns to increase attack power. You can also add some padding or armor plating to make your creature tougher.
-
2
Try reasoning with them. You've probably tried this over and over, but one more attempt at diplomacy can't hurt. You have just as much to gain by allying with an offending species as you do by wiping them out. Try speaking to a Baby if you can't get through to the adults.

3
Size up your opponent. Clicking on a member of the species in question will reveal some of their stats. Check their combat skills. If they are all high (5+) you may wish to consider leaving them be.
-
4
Build your pack. Taking on a nest of creatures by yourself is very dangerous. As your species grows and matures, you will be able to collect a pack of allies to bring with you. Make sure you have at least two allies in your pack before you attempt to destroy an offending species. The only exception is if your creature is made for combat. Extra-tough creatures may be able to take on nests of other critters and live.
-
5
Wait for them to spread out. A little patience can make all the difference here. Even with a full pack, you can still get overwhelmed by trying to take on an entire nest of creatures. Attacking a single creature vastly increases your chances of success.
-
6
Attack! You have at most, four modes of attack. Each one has a short cooldown (time you must wait before you can use it again.) Use as many attacks as you can. Your enemy won't pull any punches; neither should you. Move onto the next enemy when you are done with the first. It won't take them long to figure out they are under attack. Work as quickly as you can.
-
7
Return to the vanquished species' nest if you need to heal. Each nest you build/conquer/ally with allows you to heal your creature if need be. Eating a defeated enemy can also be a source of healing for carnivores and omnivores.
