Step 1
Look for skeletons. The easiest way to find new body parts is to look to the dead for them. Your planet is littered with the skeletons of dead creatures, all of which contain new body parts for you to utilize. Skeletons can be found just about anywhere, though they do have a habit of appearing near the nests of foreign species.

Step 2
Speak to other creatures. Communicating with other creatures is an excellent way to increase your genetic diversity. Communicate with three creatures of a foreign species to earn a body part and some DNA.
-
Step 3
Speak to Alpha creatures. Learning to communicate with an Alpha of another species is guaranteed to give you a body part. The catch is that Alphas are the most difficult creatures in a species to communicate with. Brush up on your creature's communication skills to make this easier.

Step 4
Kill other creatures. Killing other critters can sometimes yield a body part, particularly if you took on an Alpha. Be aware that this can be exceptionally dangerous, particularly if you take on a very tough species or have a small pack.
-
Step 5
Wipe out another species. This always yields a body part. It also nets you a good deal of DNA and a new nest to call your own. Just be careful you don't take on a species that knows how to fight back. See our article on Killing Other Species in Spore for more details.
