A chicken salad in short order.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Boiled and chopped chicken, or canned chunks
  • 1 bag of cole slaw mix(purchased) or hand made
  • At least 2 cups
  • A large mixing bowl
  • 2 Packages of Top Ramen noodles or similar brand
  • 1 Package dry noodle seasoning
  • 1 Chopped green onion
  • 1 Cup high quality oil
  • 2 Tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 Tablespoons vinegar
  • 4 Tablespoons sugar
  1. Step 1

Boil and de-bone chicken, refrigerate till cold. Assemble the other ingredients and chop onion. In a large bowl for easy in mixing.
Mix the single package of chicken seasoning from the noodle pack into the chicken. Add the cole slaw mix and chopped onion.

  2. Step 2

Next add the noodles crushing them up as you add them to the meat. Mix throughly.

Mix the sugar and vinegar, with the oil. This makes a light dressing for the salad.

Pour the mixture of oil into the chicken and noodles. Toss very well then put the sesame seeds in and toss some more.

  3. Step 3

Toss until all the ingredients are well mixed and the dressing is distributed well. Chill till ready to serve.

Tips & Warnings
  • I like to use Brianna's salad dressing with poppy seeds and peach for an alternate flavor.
  • I serve this for large groups since you can make the recipe double so easily.
  • Add some fruit on the side.
  • Do not use the second pack of seasoning or it will be too salty.
