How to increase your iPod battery life

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Always keep your iPod updated with the latest software.

  2. Step 2

    Switch the iPod to Hold whenever you are not using the iPod. Doing this prevents accidental song or video play when you are not using your iPod.

  3. Step 3

    Try and keep your iPod at room temperature. Extreme temperature changes will decrease the life of your iPod battery.

  4. Step 4

    If your iPod battery dies, make sure that you charge it completely before using it again. A good cycle of charging will keep your battery life good.

  5. Step 5

    Turn down the backlight setting if you do not need them. You can do this by going to Settings, Backlight Timer, and click off.
