Listen to music with iTunes with sound levels set by the performer.

If songs fade into one another while you listen to music on your computer with iTunes, you might want to disable this feature and hear the songs at the volume levels as set by the performers and music producers. Some people like to have each song fade out gradually, then gradually fade into the next to make a smoother transition between songs. You can easily stop iTunes from cross-fading each song by changing preferences settings.

Instructions

    • 1

      Launch iTunes on your computer.

    • 2

Click "Edit" at the top of the iTunes window, then click "Preferences."

    • 3

      Click "Playback."

    • 4

Click the "Crossfade Songs" check box to deselect it, then click "OK." Now when you play music in iTunes, the songs won't fade into one another.
