Have you ever picked up a colorful Autumn leaf and wished you could capture that beauty forever? Well, here is a way to preserve those leaves while creating a beautiful piece of artwork for your home.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Open the book and place a sheet of wax paper over the pages.

  2. Step 2

    Place the leaves on the wax paper. Make sure that the leaves don't touch.

  3. Step 3

    Close the book, making sure not to bend the leaves.

  4. Step 4

    Let the leaves sit in the book for about a week.

  5. Step 5

    Cut a piece of cardboard to fit inside of the picture frame.

  6. Step 6

    Glue your paper to the cardboard.

  7. Step 7

    Glue the leaves to the paper in an artful way.

  8. Step 8

    Put your artwork in the frame and hang.

Tips & Warnings
  • Solid colored acid-free paper in a muted shade is the best choice for this project.
