How to Frame Fall Foliage for Decoration

Have you ever picked up a colorful Autumn leaf and wished you could capture that beauty forever? Well, here is a way to preserve those leaves while creating a beautiful piece of artwork for your home.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Picture frame
• Cardboard
• Leaves
• Wax paper
• Decorative paper
• A heavy book
• White glue

1. Open the book and place a sheet of wax paper over the pages.

2. Place the leaves on the wax paper. Make sure that the leaves don't touch.

3. Close the book, making sure not to bend the leaves.

4. Let the leaves sit in the book for about a week.

5. Cut a piece of cardboard to fit inside of the picture frame.

6. Glue your paper to the cardboard.

7. Glue the leaves to the paper in an artful way.

8. Put your artwork in the frame and hang.

Tips & Warnings

• Solid colored acid-free paper in a muted shade is the best choice for this project.
