How to Find Cheap Plane Tickets to Japan

Japan is an awesome place to visit, but often times people think it is too expensive to get there. Fear not! Travel to Japan isn't as expensive as you might think, as long as you know the right time to travel and the best place to look for deals.

Things You'll Need

• A computer
• An internet connection
• A telephone with long distance
• About $700

Instructions

1. Go to the JTB website (See Resources). It is one of the best Japanese travel agencies and often has the best deals for plane tickets.

2. Check their deals on the right hand side of the webpage. This will give you an idea of the current plane ticket prices.

3. Travel during the off months. Traveling during late spring and summer is more expensive than travel in early spring late winter. Try to travel between January and early March or October and December.

4. Search Discount Flights in the JTB website. They are under the Flight Only tab at the top of the page. They also have good package deals if you want to check one of those out.

5. Book your ticket/trip.

6. Enjoy Japan! Saving money on that plane ticket will give you more to spend on souvenirs.

Tips & Warnings

• Avoid the Japanese holidays. Japan will be way more expensive during those times. May and August have two of the biggest holidays in Japan, Golden Week and Obon.
