Omelet's are easy to make and are delicious. Seasoning the eggs are before cooking is crucial to a great tasting omelet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Eggs
  • Seasonings (of your choice)
  • Cheese
  • Favorite type of meat
  • Vegetables
  1. Step 1

Decide how many eggs you are going to choose for your omelet. Two to Three eggs make a very large and filling omelet.

  2. Step 2

Crack open your eggs and put them into a bowl. Next take seasonings of your choice and add to the raw eggs. I add garlic salt, a dash of oregano, ground black pepper, chili powder, and a bit of onion powder. On the amount and types of seasonings to use just go by your own taste and what you like.

  3. Step 3

Whisk your eggs and seasonings together very well. You want to make sure that the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the omelet.

  4. Step 4

Take your favorite meats, cheese, and vegetables and cut them up and have them ready to add to your egg mixture once you have it cooking.

  5. Step 5

Have you skillet coated with a small amount of cooking oil. Just enough to cover the bottom. You don't want your eggs to stick to the skillet. Heat the oil in the skillet and once the oil is nice and hot add the egg mixture.

  6. Step 6

Once the egg mixture starts to cook and becomes solid add your fillings to one side of the omelet. Only add to one side because you will want to fold the remaining half over on top of the fillings.

  7. Step 7

Lightly brown the omelet on one side and then carefully take a spatula and flip the omelet over and lightly brown the other side. It is easier to use two spatulas if you can. Sometimes the omelet might tear apart a little. This is to be expected at times. Make sure the fillings are nice and hot and the cheese is melted.

  8. Step 8

Remove omelet from skillet and enjoy.
