If you just finished using that spray bottle, don't toss it. You can use it for a dozen different things and I'll give you a few suggestions here. Every where you look empty spray bottles cost at least $1.00, so why not pocket your dollar?

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

So you've emptied the bottle. Now what? Fill it with hot sudsy water, spray it out to clean sprayer and use the cleaner to wipe down counters, sinks, etc. Make sure to rinse out well until water runs clear.

  2. Step 2

Decide what you are going to put into this bottle. Clear water works good to mist plants, to spray meats while grilling, or deter cats from scratching furniture.

  3. Step 3

Soapy water works well to deter insects from plants. Add a little epsom salts and fertilize plants at the same time.

  4. Step 4

At http://www.ehow.com/how_2289000_homemade-window-cleaner.html, find a recipe for your own window cleaner.

  5. Step 5

Mix one part hair conditioner and two parts water, blend well and you have your own detangler.

Tips & Warnings
  • ALWAYS clearly label your bottle so that you know what it is.
  • If using for consumption, for example spraying meats on the grill, be certain to clean thoroughly and remove all previous ingredients from bottle.
