How to clean a not-so-dirty, dusty room ie: living room, den, sitting room.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • duster, soft cloth, Dusting solution or bucket of warm water and gental all purpose cleanser. A broom, dust pan, and mop.
  1. Step 1

    Start with the ceiling. Wipe any dust, spider webs or lent off ceiling. Including any ceiling fans or fixtures.

  2. Step 2

    One wall at a time, dust off any picture frames or wall art. Also any dust accumulated on walls with duster or soft cloth.

  3. Step 3

    Focusing a little lower, dust and wipe down any tables, shelves, and furniture in the room.

  4. Step 4

    Next is the floor. Regardless of what kind of floor start with a good sweeping picking up dust off floor with dust pan. Depending on how much dust you might have to do it twice.

  5. Step 5

    After the floor is swept use your bucket of cleansing product with warm water to mop the entire floor from inside room toward doorway moving small furniture if necessary to mop surface evenly.

Tips & Warnings
  • always start with clean equipment.
  • Do not use harsh cleansing products as they may damage furniture.
