Things You'll Need:
- rubbing alcohol
- leather shoes
- piece of cloth to apply alcohol. I used a cotton makeup sponge.
-
Step 1
Wet the cloth/cotton sponge with alcohol so that it is wet but not dripping. (You don't want it dripping in case you get some on the outside of your shoe.)
-
Step 2
Rub the wet cloth/sponge with the alcohol on the *inside* of your shoe where it is too tight. Make sure you wet the area well.
-
Step 3
Wear your shoe as normal. Use old socks or nylons in case the color from the leather wears off.
-
Step 4
The shoe will stretch where you placed the alcohol. It took about half an hour or so for this to work. The leather needed to warm up from my foot for the leather to stretch.
