I hate the smell of mothballs and I have a cat at home so I wanted a safer and natural alternative to trying to keep moths at bay. The following is a really simple way to keep moths at bay.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • cloves
  • panty hose
  1. Step 1

Vacuum and thoroughly clean the moth infested area. Make sure that you get rid of any moth larvae or moths in your home.

  2. Step 2

Buy some cloves or get some from your kitchen. Place about a handful of cloves in an old panty hose and cut and tie end. Dont waste that cut up panty hose because you can do the same with cut up panty hose.

  3. Step 3

Place panty hose in target places where you want to keep the moths out.

on 4/10/2009 I would love to hear if anyone else has had luck with the cloves. I am having a horrible time with clothing moths and nothing is ridding them from my house...including fogging
