Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet
  • Lease Documentation
  1. Step 1

    GATHER YOUR DOCUMENTS

You will need to have your documents (title, lease agreement, etc.) on hand in order to begin the process of transferring your car lease. Much of this information will be necessary to hunt for interested lessees.

  2. Step 2

VISIT AN ONLINE LEASE TRANSFER SITE

Visit one of many online car lease transfer websites. A Google search will provide an expansive list of these sites.

  3. Step 3

    REGISTER AND PROVIDE INFORMATION

Car lease transfer sites will guide you through the process of registering. You will have to provide your phone, email, and full name, and information about your vehicle.

  4. Step 4

    LIST

When you have provided all the required information, your car lease will be listed for browsing and searching by lease hunters. You should have a current photo of the vehicle to accompany the listing.

Tips & Warnings

on 10/9/2009 LeaseTrader, com seem to be the best choice , they pre-credit qualify buyers before they can contact you!

The other sites just wast your time with people bad credit!

NOTE: the person who takes over your lease must have good credit! "NO exceptions"

on 1/25/2009 I just googled lease transfers and the top site was www.takemypayments.com .. They've been in businesss since March 2000. You may not want to try an recent upstart when transferring your lease just in case the company hasn't worked out the kinks or hasn't even had a transfer. Listing vehicles doesn't mean getting transfers. Just an FYI.
