How to Make a Delicious Date Night Alfredo Sauce From Scratch

Homemade Alfredo is great comfort food.

Having a date night at home is a realistic and cost-effective way to spend time with the one you love without breaking the bank. Making a home-cooked meal, such as an Alfredo pasta dish with your choice of noodles, not only tastes delicious but cooks in minutes. The quick preparation is ideal if you're planning for a big night or don't have too much time to get everything prepared before your partner arrives.

Things You'll Need

• 1 box of pasta
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup heavy cream
• Spices
• 2 cups grated parmigiana

Instructions

1. Boil your choice of pasta until it is al dente, roughly five to seven minutes. Use your choice of spaghetti, angel hair, fettuccine or linguine.

2. Melt the butter and add the heavy cream to the skillet.

3. Add seasonings to your mixture to taste, including salt, pepper, garlic or onion. You can also leave it as-is.

4. Pour half of your grated parmigiana in a serving bowl and pour the butter and cream mixture over top of it. Drain the pasta and pour it directly on top of the parmigiana, butter and cream mixture. Stir until well mixed and all pasta is coated in sauce.

5. Sprinkle the rest of the parmigiana on top of the Alfredo mixture and serve with garlic bread for a romantic meal.
