  1. Step 1

    Determine which style of salsa you want to learn. There are two popular styles. Los Angeles style and New York style. You should consider making your choice based on which of these cities is in closer proximity to your location. This will likely determine what style of salsa is commonly danced at the salsa clubs/parties in your neighborhood.
