How to Add Microsoft Word Style Spell Checking To Your InDesign Document

InDesign has a built in underline spell checker. Here's how to turn it on and off.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Under the InDesign menu, go to Preferences.

  2. Step 2

    In the Preferences Pane, check Enable Dynamic Spelling.

  3. Step 3

    Misspelled words will automatically be underlined in red. Repeated words or uncapitalized words and sentences will be underlined in green.
