Sometimes, people fight about things that are just so...stupid. Here's how to make up to someone after a huge argument over absolutely nothing.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Swallow your pride. The other person probably is as angry and distressed as you. You took one side and they took the other.

  2. Step 2

If you started the fight, apologize for getting upset. Explain to the person that your realize the argument was petty, and you are sorry.

  3. Step 3

The other person may reluctantly accept your apology, or pretend not to accept it at all. But in reality, they will accept it even if they don't say so.

  4. Step 4

Sometimes people have petty fights over issues that have nothing to do with the real reason they are arguing with each other. Use your apology to clarify the real reason you were upset.

  5. Step 5

Give the person space if they need it. Don't overly apologize or become clingy. He/she is still smarting from your words and suddenly being super nice after a fight is a manipulative act.
