How to Recycle Plastic Grocery Bags Around The House

Here's how to recycle those ubiquitous plastic grocery bags from the supermarket by using them around your home.

Instructions

1. Save your bags in a drawer in the kitchen once you get them home from your store. That way, you'll always have a supply, and never be tempted to just throw them away.

2. Use plastic grocery bags as carrying sacks for wet swimsuits or dirty shoes.

3. Use them as wastepaper bags for those small little trash cans in your bathroom and office.

4. Wrap them around bagged and frozen food in order to prevent further freezer burn.

5. Use the bags as lunch sacks, or to pack food for picnics.

6. Use grocery sacks organize clothes in your storage closet.
