Things You'll Need:

  • used grass clippings
  • old newspapers
  1. Step 1

    Lay down newspapers in between rows in your garden

  2. Step 2

    Put used grass clippings on top of them. Put them as thick as you like.

  3. Step 3

    Mulch with grass clippings around all of your plants. Keeps weeds down and also helps with keeping moisture in soil, which reduces the need for watering. Especially beneficial if you are in a drought area.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you have any chemicals on your grass, wait three mowings before using clippings.
