A simple way to get your dog to sit.

Instructions

Step 1

Stand in front of your dog and show them a treat so they will face you.
Step 2

Do not let the dog jump up on you.
Step 3

Hold the treat just behind the dog's head and say "sit." This will cause the dog to look back and automatically sit.
Step 4

When your dog sits get excited! Say "good sit, good boy/girl" it also helps to say "good _______, good sit _____" and insert their name in the blank.
