My sweet potato casserole is a Thanksgiving staple but any excuse to make this sweet dish works any time of the year.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 15 ounces canned sweet potatoes
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 pinches salt
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Step 2

Empty sweet potatoes into 10x6 inch shallow baking dish and pour orange over evenly.

  3. Step 3

In a bowl combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt; mix together well and then cut in butter. Crumble mixture over sweet potatoes.

  4. Step 4

Bake for 30 - 40 minutes. Remove from oven, cover completely with marshmallows and broil until browned.

Tips & Warnings
  • Softenend butter works better.
  • Be careful marshmallows are not too close to flame in oven.
