Change the size of your Dock on the fly in Mac OS X.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    On the left of your Dock, just to the left of the Trash Can icon, is a thin line separating the Trash Can from the other items in the Dock.

  2. Step 2

    Hover your pointer over this line.

  3. Step 3

    The cursor will turn into an arrow bar.

  4. Step 4

    Hold down the mouse button and drag up to make the Icons on the Dock appear bigger. Hold down the mouse button and drag down to make the dock shrink.

  5. Step 5

    Use this tip if you need to maximize screen space on a laptop in certain applications.
