Mix hot water and vinegar together in the glass carafe and let it soak for a few hours. Using a soft cloth, clean out the pot and rinse thoroughly. Another approach is to mix vinegar and baking soda together. Let the mixture foam and then clean with a soft cloth. Rinse in warm water.

      Grab the baking soda. Baking soda is another great cleaning agent. You can use the vinegar and baking soda together, or you make a paste with baking soda and water. Let the paste sit for awhile and then clean with a soft cloth. Rinse out with warm water.
