Dating a millionaire is not as difficult as it might seem. Millionaires need love too, and there is no reason some lucky financial whiz can’t fall for you. If you don’t regularly come into contact with the wealthy, you can still find a millionaire mate. It will take research and planning, but once you snag that millionaire, you’ll be glad you made the effort.

1. Improve your appearance. Visit the top hair stylist in your area for a cut and color. Choose a bold hair color that goes well with your complexion and makes you stand out. Whiten your teeth if they’ve started to yellow.

2. Lose those extra ten pounds you’ve been meaning to drop. Your goal is to catch the eye of that millionaire and you aren’t going to do that if you’re not in top shape.

3. Upgrade your wardrobe. Invest in a few designer pieces. Consignment stores offer gently used designer clothes at a fraction of their original retail price, so you won’t have to break your budget to augment your wardrobe. Buy a few pairs of expensive shoes to compliment your new, upscale look.

4. Work on your voice and diction. You don’t want to ruin an attractive package with bad grammar or an accent that is hard to understand. Record yourself speaking and work on correcting any words that you are pronouncing incorrectly.

5. Subscribe to financial magazines such as "Forbes" and "Business Week." "Forbes" is famous for its listing of the richest people in the world and business magazines often feature profiles on wealthy business leaders. If your city has a business newspaper, subscribe to that too.

6. Choose one or two likely prospects and thoroughly research their lives and habits. Find out what their hobbies are, where they eat and what time they show up for work. If you know your millionaire stops by the local coffee shop before heading into work each day, make the coffee shop your first stop of the day too. If you discover that your millionaire enjoys fishing at the local lake, buy some fishing gear and hip boots and start enjoying your new hobby, and hopefully, new mate.

7. Find a job that will put you in close contact with millionaires. Become one of the CEO’s personal assistants or accountants. Get a job in the jewelry store that your millionaire likes to frequent.

8. Make friends with your millionaire’s friends. Get invited to parties that the millionaire will be attending and casually introduce yourself or better yet, get your new friend to introduce you.
