Things You'll Need:
- Cucumber
- Peppermint oil
- Eucalyptus oil
- Mint leaves
- Lemon juice
-
Step 1
Take 1/2 to 3/4 of a whole cucumber and chop it up into 1-centimeter cubes. Pour all of those well-chopped cubes into a small mixing bowl.
-
Step 2
Take 1 tablespoon of fresh, organic lemon juice and pour that slowly into the mixing bowl. Now add 1 drop of peppermint essential oil and 1 drop of eucalyptus oil to the mix. Take 1 tablespoon of fresh, organic mint leaves and chop them up into a light sprinkling. Sprinkle the mint leaves slowly into the bowl. Begin mixing the contents of the bowl vigorously until it is mixed.
-
Step 3
Pour the contents of the bowl into a blender or food processor, blending until it is a consistent cream. Once this is done, pour it back into the mixing bowl, cover it with foil or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for fifteen minutes. Then, it is ready for use.
-
Step 4
Wash your face with very hot water. Try using a deep cleanser such as an astringent or toner, and make sure there is no make-up residue left on your face.
-
Step 5
Apply the mask delicately to all areas of your face. Let sit on your skin for fifteen minutes. Make sure the mask is sufficiently chilled when applying to the face. Once it is done, wash your face with very hot water, making sure all traces of the mask are gone. Finish up by washing your face again, this time with very cool water.
-
Step 6
The mask will stay fresh for about 1 1/2 weeks if it is kept in the refrigerator. If it is kept in open air, it may only be fresh for a few days. Always keep it covered to keep the cucumber fresh for as long as possible. Try using it once a week to see real progress in skin health.
