Things You'll Need:
- Lemon or orange Juice
- Flaxseed oil
- Chickpeas
-
Step 1
The Mediterranean facial mask is best to maintain skin health for people with normal skin consistency. First take 1/4 cup of canned chickpeas and squish them as much as possible. If you have to heat them first to get this done effectively, that is fine. Place the squished chickpeas into a large mixing bowl.
-
Step 2
Take 1 tablespoon of organic flaxseed oil and pour it into the bowl, stirring the contents at the same time. At 1/4 tablespoon of orange or lemon juice, squeezed directly from an organic orange or lemon. Finally, add 1 drop of eucalyptus oil to the contents of the bowl. Stir these contents vigorously, until they are well-mixed. Try using a fork to really get the contents mixed.
-
Step 3
Pour the contents of the bowl into a blender and blend them until they are a well-mixed, but creamy in texture. If it fails to get creamy you can add 1 tablespoon more of the chickpeas. Once it is well-blended, pour it back into the mixing bowl and it is ready for use.
-
Step 4
Clean your face, preferably using a deep cleaner such as an astringent or toner. Heat the cream just slightly, either in the microwave or in the oven. You do not want it hot on your face, but if it is warm it will dig deeper into your pours and help fight wrinkles and blemishes.
-
Step 5
Apply the cream to all areas of your face gently, and let it stay on your face for twenty minutes. Once the time has past wash your face thoroughly with hot water. Once you have done that, wash it again, this time with much cooler water to revitalize the skin cells.

Step 6
You can keep this mask fresh for up to 1 1/2 weeks, as long as it is in a dry, cold location like a refrigerator. Make sure the temperature on the refrigerator is not set to low, to avoid parts of it freezing. If it is in a warm and moist location, like a bathroom, it may only last up to a week before mold spores begin to form. Try using this mask once a week for optimum results.
