In order to sell liquor in the state of Illinois, you will need to get a liquor license and follow the state’s liquor laws. Find out what forms you’ll need to fill out to get your Illinois liquor license. You can request these forms from the State of Illinois Liquor Control Commission or download them from www.state.il.us/lcc/licensediv.asp and print them out yourself.

Have the required information that you have need in order to receive your liquor license in Illinois. In order to receive your Illinois liquor license, you must have the completed retail liquor license application, pay the $500 fee for the license, have your local liquor license, and have your Illinois Business Tax Number and your Federal Employer Identification Number. You will also need to show proof of insurance for your place of business.

View the rules and regulations of the Illinois Liquor Control Commission. You can view these directly on its website and even download the regulations to print out for your convenience. Make sure you follow the liquor laws, or else you risk getting your liquor license fined, suspended or revoked.

They work together with the Illinois Liquor Control Commission to educate the liquor industry about the various liquor laws in the state of Illinois. They also publish informative literature and conduct alcohol presentations in many cities and counties throughout Illinois.
