Things You'll Need:
- Brow gel
- Brow pencil
- Brow brush
- Tweezers
-
Step 1
Choose what type of brow gel you'll be using. There are two main types: tinted or clear. The tinted brow gels help to fill in spaces if you have sparse eyebrows. The clear gels just help to keep each hair in place and make them look sleek. Either is a great choice, but it is based on personal preference which one you'd like to use.
-
Step 2
Make sure your brows are properly plucked or waxed. A brow gel is meant only to set a look, so all your prep should be done before applying.
-
Step 3
Fill in brows with an eye pencil as needed.
-
Step 4
Brush brows into arch or other desired style with a brow brush. The brush that comes with the brow gel will help you to make minor adjustments, but you should have it in the general shape you like before applying.
-
Step 5
Open up brow gel and wipe the excess on the lip of the container, much like you would with a mascara brush. You only need very little brow gel to set you look, so don't waste what you don't need. Plus, excess gel can flake when it dries.
-
Step 6
Brush the brow gel onto eyebrows one at a time, starting at the inner corner of your eye and brushing outward with the grain of the hair. Use the brush the re-style the shape of your brows for precision.
-
Step 7
Smooth brows with your finger to make sure there is no excess gel. Just graze it lightly over the brows so you don't disturb the shape of the brows.
-
Step 8
Your brows should now be set! Tweeze any stray hairs that fall outside the browline to finish up the look.
