Life seems to be easier when we are on a path that leads us to our higher purpose. Here are some ideas on how you can discover your higher calling.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Determine your gifts.

We were each born with gifts and talents. Make a list of yours. Then list the top two or three in order.

  2. Step 2

    Explore your passion.

Another word for passion is burden. What is the thing that you know, deep down, you would like to do in your life? Maybe it's creating a strong family. Maybe it's helping others with some area of there lives. Maybe it's business. Whatever it is, write down the thing that drives you.

  3. Step 3

    Master your level.

You can't get anywhere else, in any area of your life, until you master where you're at. Take the time to get good a handle on your life as it is, then look to move. (More on mastering your level in another article.)

  4. Step 4

    Put it all together.

When you have a list of your talents and a written description of your passion, it's time to put the two together. How can you use your talents to live in your passion? That's where you want to go. Then when you master where you're at, you can start moving towards where you want to be.
