Blogging is becoming increasingly popular. According to the BlogWorld Expo website, over 12 million Americans maintain a blog. If you are one of those 12 million or are considering starting a blog, you have to attend the BlogWorld Expo in Las Vegas. It's the only industrywide show dedicated to blogging and other new media such as podcasting. The expo, held over two days, is packed with information on why blogging is so important, how to maintain a blog and how to get the word out about it. Speakers are leaders in the industry.

    How to Attend BlogWorld in Las Vegas, NV

  1. Step 1

    Arrive at the Las Vegas Convention Center earlier than when it starts at 8:45 a.m., to make sure you have ample time to park, find your way to the area of the Convention Center where the expo will be, register and get settled.

  2. Step 2

    Network with other bloggers and vendors in the blogging industry.

  3. Step 3

    Examine the day's schedule and read details on the speakers and sessions. Decide which sessions will help you in your blogging efforts.

  4. Step 4

    Meander around the exhibit floor and talk to vendors.

  5. Step 5

    Pass out your business card with the URL (web address) to your blog.

  6. Step 6

    Wear something eye catching like a silly design on your T-shirt that advertises your blog.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't forget to bring proof that you have a blog by printing out the homepage or bringing something with access to the Internet to log on to your blog at registration.
