How to Find Craft Shows in Washington

Selling your own arts and crafts and thus becoming a small business owner gives you freedoms you could never have working for someone else. However, it also comes with greater responsibilities. You have an obligations to make and sell the best quality product you can supply. You must keep good records. This will ensure that you are making a profit and will enable you to complete your income tax forms at tax time. You must follow all laws and regulations pertaining to your business. Instructions

1. Enjoy selling your crafts at the Shrimpfest, located in Brinnon. This is a 2-day, outdoor event at the end of May. Fee for a 10X10 space is $75. Contact Karen at [e-mail].

2. Sell your arts and crafts at the Enumclaw Street Fair, located in Enumclaw. This is a 2-day, outdoor event at the end of July. Fee for a 10X10 foot space ranges from $150 to $200. Contact Rene Popke at [e-mail].

3. Create a bunch of craft items for the Homemade Arts and Crafts Christmas Bazaar, located in Blaine. This is a 1-day, outdoor event in the first part of November. Fee for a 5X10 booth is $25. Contact Sharon Neem at [e-mail].

4. Run down to Timberline Band Arts and Crafts Bazaar, located in Lacey. This is a 1-day, indoor event held in November. Fee for a 10X10 foot booth is $35. Contact Bill Fishburn at [e-mail].

5. Produce enough craft items for the Bearzaar Craft Show, located in Olympia. This is a 1-day, indoor event in mid-November. Fee for a 10X10 foot space is $50. Contact Kathy Thompson at [e-mail].

6. Sell your crafts at the Pickering Barn Craft Show, located in Issaquah. This is a 3-day, indoor event in the beginning of November. Fee for a 5X10 foot space is $50 + 23% of your sales. Contact Sandy Roundy at [e-mail].
