Things You'll Need:
- Sheet of red craft foam
- 2 small wiggly craft eyes with adhesive backs
- White and black craft paint
- Paintbrush
- Cotton balls
- Glue
- Pencil
- String, yarn or an ornament hook

Step 1
Draw a star shape onto a sheet of red craft foam. The larger you make the star, the bigger your ornament will be. Your red star with form the body of your Santa Claus.

Step 2
Use scissors to cut the star shape out of the red craft foam.

Paint the bottom two points of the star black to form the boots of your Santa.

Tear a few cotton balls into thinner smaller pieces and apply a thin layer of cotton across the middle of the star with glue to form a belt.

Make two thin white lines for shirt cuffs towards the end of the two points that are on the side of the star shape.

Design the outline of a small Santa Christmas hat on the top point of the star with white craft paint, and place a little black ball of paint to form the tip of the hat.

Attach two wiggly craft eyes near the center of the top point of the star underneath the Santa hat.

Step 8
Use white paint to make a nose on the Santa's face under the wiggly eyes.

Step 9
Glue a layer of thin cotton balls underneath the nose of the Santa to form his beard.
