Apply for the PlayStation Home Beta
PlayStation Home is one of the most anticipated applications for the PlayStation 3, and after many years in development, the service is almost ready for launch. Sony has been handing out weekly beta keys for the service, and after a few short steps, you can apply for the beta, too!

PlayStation 3 PlayStation Network account

Start up your PlayStation 3 and log into your PlayStation Network account. If you have not created a PlayStation Network account yet, do so by selecting the PlayStation Network icon and then selecting "Create new account."

Go to the "Themes" tab and browse by name.

Select "P" and then download the "PlayStation Home" theme. Once you download the theme, you will already be entered into the PlayStation Home beta. You do not need to apply the theme to your home screen. If you are selected for beta participation, you will be notified by email.
Tips & Warnings
Before you download the theme, go into your user settings and make sure all of your information is correct, including your email address. If any of the information is wrong, you won't be able to retrieve your beta key.
