How to Rescue a Shih Tzu in Wisconsin
Shih Tzu rescues in Wisconsin work to rescue the dogs from local shelters, owners who have had to abandon their dog, and lost dogs who have been recovered. The dogs undergo a physical exam from a vet and if need be are nursed back to health. By adopting a rescue you are giving the dog a second chance at love. Wisconsin is fortunate enough to be home to three well known Rescue organizations, the Shih Tzu Rescue of Central Wisconsin, Shih Tzu Club of Southeast Wisconsin and New Beginnings Shih Tzu & Friends Rescue.

Shih Tzu dogs require regular visits to a groomer. Set aside funds to cover a grooming once every 6 weeks.
Shih Tzu puppies are not toys. Please consider adopting an older dog if you have young children.
