Whenever a woman leaves her home, she should be prepared for all fashion accidents that may arise. Fashion accidents can include anything from spills to holes in clothing. Always carry a fashion first aid kit. It's the best way to always be prepared for any fashion accidents or disasters that may happen when out and about.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cosmetic bag
  • Stain removing wipes
  • Safety pins
  • Double-sided tape
  • Miniature sewing kit
  • Dryer sheets
  1. Step 1

Purchase a cosmetic bag that will fit inside most of your handbags. It should be big enough to carry the supplies of the fashion first aid kit. Keeping the first aid kit in a cosmetic bag will make it easier to stay organized and find items when you need them.

  2. Step 2

Buy individual stain removing wipes from the grocery store. Many detergent companies sell small wipes that can be toted around in the fashion first aid kit. These are quick and easy to use when something has been spilled on clothing.

  3. Step 3

Visit your local craft or sewing store. Buy safety pins of all sizes. Safety pins are a must for the fashion first aid kit because you never know when something on your clothing may snag, rip or break. Safety pins can help keep your clothing together and allow you to feel confident.

  4. Step 4

Purchase a miniature sewing kit. Most sewing kits include a couple of needles and small spools of thread. This kit can be used in many different fashion accidents such as a button falling off your clothing or a seam being ripped.

  5. Step 5

Invest in some double-sided tape. If you decide to wear a low cut dress, double-sided tape is a must. Even if you apply double-sided tape to your clothing when you leave the house, make sure to put some in the fashion first aid kit to be safe.

  6. Step 6

Take some dryer sheets from your laundry room and add them to the fashion first aid kit. Dryer sheets can help prevent static cling between your skirt and your pantyhose. It's a smart idea to keep a couple handy at all times.

  7. Step 7

Put all of the items into your cosmetic bag. Place your cosmetic bag in your handbag. You are now ready for just about any fashion accident that may occur.

Tips & Warnings
  • Take your fashion first aid kit with you wherever you go, even if it is just to run out to the store.
  • Don't forget to keep the kit updated after using one of the items. Dryer sheets may also need to be changed out every week or so.
