      Attend story time at one of the seven branches of the Greensboro Public Library. All branches offer free story times with crafts and entertainment throughout the week. Story times are available for all ages, including infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Each branch location has a children’s librarian on staff that can help you find appropriate books for your young child (see Resources).

      Art Quest at the Cultural Arts building

      Visit the Green Hill Art Center museum and Art Quest in the Cultural Arts Center downtown. The Cultural Arts Center offers ballet, art classes and acting for young children.       Explore the Natural Science Center of Greensboro. The center offers entertainment for children from toddlers to preteens. Kids Alley at the center is designed for children 5 years old and under to explore. The Omnisphere planetarium has daily shows for ages 4 and older.       The Little Gym of Greensboro

      Enroll your young child in tumbling or other active classes. Both The Little Gym and Tumblebees (see Resources) in Greensboro offer classes for children ranging from infants to age 12. Classes include gymnastics, karate, cheerleading and dance. Tumblebees also offers gymnastics classes for teenagers.
