Instructions

    • 1

Engage your Navigator's emergency brake and take the keys out of the ignition before starting. Also, turn the headlights off.

    • 2

Walk to the back of your Navigator and open the liftgate.

    • 3

Remove the two screws holding the tail lamp assembly to the rear pillar. Pull the assembly directly back from the pillar until it comes free.

    • 4

Locate the turn signal bulb socket. Once you've found it, twist it counterclockwise and remove it from the assembly.

    • 5

Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket and replace it with the new bulb.

    • 6

Press the bulb socket into the tail lamp assembly and turn it clockwise to secure its position.

    • 7

Test the new bulb to make sure it works before screwing the assembly back onto the rear pillar and closing the liftgate.

Tips & Warnings

  • Your Navigator's stop, tail and turn signal lights are all housed in the rear combination light assembly. If you're unsure of which bulb to replace, check the combination light diagram the "Lights" section of your owner's manual.
