Instructions

    • 1

Turn off your van to avoid a shock while working on the taillight. Engage the emergency brake for added safety.

    • 2

Open the liftgate to access the rear storage compartment.

    • 3

Remove the two screws from the inboard side of the taillight housing.

    • 4

Insert a fiber stick or screwdriver between the outboard side of the taillight assembly and the van's body, and then pry the assembly loose.

    • 5

Twist the signal bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the light assembly. Pull the bulb out of the socket.

    • 6

Replace the bulb, reinstall the socket and screw the light assembly back into place. Make sure the assembly's secure before closing the liftgate and operating your van.

    • 7

Turn your van back on and test the turn signal to make sure it works.

Tips & Warnings

  • On models made before 2008, squeeze the socket tabs to remove the socket from the taillight assembly.

  • The stop, tail and rear turn signal lights are all housed in your van's taillight assembly. If you don't know which bulb to replace, see the diagram in Section 7 of your Owner's Manual.

Thanks for the awesome instructions. I am a mother and I was able to do this simple task within minutes. I saved money and time without having to make an appointment at the carshop and take three kids with me to wait an hour doing this.
