Skateboarding involves a number of cool tricks. With enough practice, you can master many of them. Here are some steps telling you how to do a kick flip.
Place your left (or right depending on your stance) foot on the back of the tail of your skateboard.
Step2
Place your other foot just ahead of the center of your board with about half of your foot (on the heel side) hanging off.
Step3
Snap your tail hard for maximum pop. While doing this, slide the remainder of your front foot off the side of the board to make it spin. (Make sure to use your toe and not the bottom of your foot.)
Step4
Leap over the obstacle of your choice, meanwhile keeping the board rotating under your feet.
Step5
Catch your board on the grip with each foot and begin your great descent.
Step6
Bend your knees when you hit the ground.
Step7
Grin and wink at any supermodels that happen to be passing by at the time.
Tips & Warnings
The harder you snap your tail and jump, the higher your board will soar.
The harder you kick off your front foot, the faster the board will spin.
While learning this trick you WILL fall and graze yourself--but don't give up, it is a vital step in advancing your skateboarding skills.

Start off by putting your feet like an ollie, except your front foot should be slanted. Ollie, but instead of dragging your foot up, drag it diagonal. When the board flips, catch it two feet over the trucks and roll away.

Line up your feet, as if you were doing the ollie, except have your front foot slanted off to the side. Begin to bend your knees and pop the board as hard as you can. Bring your legs up high so you don't hit the board and screw up. When you see the grip tape, hop on and roll away.

Don't be afraid to land! Some people fail to progress with this trick because they are afraid to land. Try to keep your feet straight above the board. Concentrate on going in a straight line too. Also, don't kick the board so hard that your board goes flying in front of you. You don't have to do a ninja kick. Also remember to try this flip trick while moving. If you don't, then you probably won't be used to moving while doing this trick, and could hurt yourself. Don't be afraid to fall a couple of times. Don't think that you failed 20 times on the kickflip, think that you found 20 ways not to do a kickflip. Don't give up!
