Things You'll Need:
- Construction paper
- White poster
- Scissors
- Markers
- Flat "picture" magnets
- Juice glass
- Water glass
-
Step 1
Trace three circles. Place one on top of the other on the white poster. This will be the snowman's body. Make sure that the edges of the circles are touching. Use the water glass for the bottom two circles. The slightly smaller juice glass is a good fit for his head.
-
Step 2
Color your snowman. Draw on his face and any "underwear" or coal buttons that might go under his clothes. Give him two thick brown stick arms. Make sure that you will be able to cut the arms out.
-
Step 3
If you wish, you can use different pieces and colors of construction paper together to make the clothing more elaborate.Draw various items of clothing on different colors of construction paper. You might draw a black hat, a red scarf, a yellow jacket, or a green shirt. Decorate them with the markers. Make sure that they are size proportionate to your snowman.
-
Step 4
Cut out the snowman and his clothes. Be very careful to cut smooth, even lines.
-
Step 5
Attach flat magnets to the back of the snowman and his clothes. Flat picture magnets have a sticky side that will adhere to the paper. If you use ceramic magnets, you will need glue to hold them in place.
-
Step 6
Place your snowman on the refrigerator. Start dressing him up.
