Photo storage boxes are the perfect solution for classifying your various craft supplies. They come with pre-cut labels and metal bracket label holders on the side which make switching out labels a snap. And their uniform size create a streamlined, tidy look in your craft closet. Use a different box for each category of crafting supplies. For example, use one box for stationery supplies, one for stamps and ink pads, one for sewing materials, another for beads and jewelry supplies, etc. Label the boxes clearly.

Organize within the photo storage boxes with clear plastic zip-lock bags. Separate further within the box category. For example, if you are organizing the box containing your bead and jewelry supplies, separate your chains and fastenings into one bag. Have a separate bag for various styles of beads, splitting them up based on size or color. If baggies are not appropriate for the supplies you're organizing, try cutting pieces of cardboard to create dividers within the box. This will allow division within the boxes and allow easier access to various styles or colors.

Have a separate shelf for larger supplies that will not fit in a storage box. Use a sticky folder label on the edge of the shelf to identify the place for each larger item. This will allow you to find things simply and remember where they go later on.
