How to Make Origami Swans
Origami is a fun craft for people of all ages, as well as an art form in itself. Origami swans make a beautiful gift, a decorative table setting or just a fun craft to practice and perfect. It's a simple enough operation, and all you need is a piece of paper and pair of scissors.

1
Lay your paper on a flat surface. Take one corner and fold it over diagonally, so you are left with a triangle. Crease the edge and then unfold. Take the left corner and fold it inward toward the center. Take in the opposite corner and repeat. Crease the edges. Your paper should now resemble a long diamond.
-
2
Flip the paper over. Fold one edge into the center and crease. Repeat with the opposite side. Your diamond should be even slimmer now. Make strong crease lines so the paper lines hold.

3
Fold one tip of the diamond to meet the other tip. You should have just folded the entire project in half. Crease the line well. Fold 1/4 of one of the sides down or outward to crease the head.
-
4
Fold the entire project in half underneath itself, so that it runs along the right natural crease line. Pull out the neck and head so the swan looks lively.
