If you're tired of traditional deviled eggs and like crispy bacon and creamy cheese, you should make Cheesy Bacon Deviled Eggs. These stuffed, hard-boiled eggs are tasty and easy to make. You can make 16 deviled eggs with this recipe.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 oz. bacon bits
  • 2 oz. spreadable cheese
  • 2 oz. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 medium white onion (minced)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Parsley
  • Saucepan
  • Timer
  • Paper towel
  • Sharp knife
  • Teaspoon
  • Medium bowl
  • Fork
  • Spoon
  1. Step 1

Put the eggs in a large saucepan. Cover them with cold water to a level at least one inch above the eggs.

  2. Step 2

Set the heat to high and bring the eggs to a boil. Turn the heat down to medium high. Let the eggs simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Remove the pan from the stove. Drain the water from the saucepan. Cool the eggs immediately in running cold water and drain. Crack the hard-boiled eggs on a hard surface and peel the shells. Rinse under running cold water. Pat each egg dry with a paper towel.

  4. Step 4

Halve the eggs lengthwise with a sharp knife. Remove the yolks with a teaspoon and put them in a bowl. Use a wet spoon to remove the yolks from hard-boiled eggs more easily.

  5. Step 5

Add bacon bits, processed spray cheese, mayonnaise, onion, salt and pepper to the yolks. Whip the mixture with a fork.

  6. Step 6

Spoon the cheesy bacon and egg mixture into each white egg halve. For added color, garnish the tops of each deviled egg with paprika and fresh or dried parsley.

Tips & Warnings
  • Substitute 12 large, thick slices of crumbled, fried bacon for the bacon bits.
