If you possess an artistic flair, you can paint a logo onto the windows of your business. All you'll need is regular acrylic latex paint, a few other items, a good eye and a steady hand.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Lint-free cloth
  • Window cleaner
  • Non-permanent magic marker
  • Acrylic paint marker
  • Acrylic spray fixative
  • Assorted acrylic paints
  • Assorted brushes
  1. Step 1

Print the logo in the same colors and size you plan to use for the mural. If you need a large logo, you can use an existing sign or some other item that already displays the logo.

  2. Step 2

Prepare the window with commercial window cleaner and a lint-free cloth. Any oil, dirt or debris will cause the paint to crack and flake off.

  3. Step 3

Mix the acrylic paint to match the logo colors.

  4. Step 4

Tape a printed logo to the inside of the window. Trace the outline of the logo on the outside of the window with an extra-fine, black magic marker.

  5. Step 5

Fill in the colors in the mural. Start with the lighter colors and appply enough coats to completely fill the sections. Smooth over the brush strokes. Layer your colors to lend dimension to the presentation.

  6. Step 6

Seal the finished product with a coat of sealer spray, which can be purchased online or in craft or hobby stores.

  7. Step 7

Remove the magic marker from the outside of the window with window cleaner.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add soap to your paints to create a temporary mural. This paint will come off easily under a razor blade.
