- Small Santa hats
- Wiggly craft eyes
- Cream and pink craft paint

- Old newspapers
- Scissors
-
Step 1
Place a layer of old newspapers over your work surface to protect it from the paint and glue.
-
Step 2
Paint the entire surface of your gourd with cream-colored paint.
-
Step 3
Place a circle of hot glue around the top of the gourd, below its curved stem.
-
Step 4
Press the Santa hat onto the circle of hot glue to secure it to the gourd.
-
Step 5
Attach two wiggly craft eyes to the front of the gourd, but leave plenty of room for a nose and mouth below them.
-
Step 6
Glue two small circles of cotton balls onto the sides of the gourd. Glue one circle on each side, in the area where ears would be.
-
Step 7
Dab several lines of glue around the bottom rim of the Santa hat, and then press some shredded cotton balls into the glue to form curly hair on the Santa head.
-
Step 8
Form a pair of glasses out of two pipe cleaners, and glue them in place over the wiggly craft eyes. You can tuck the handles behind the cotton ball ears if you need a place to secure them.
-
Step 9
Use pink paint to make two rosy cheeks on the Santa head.
-
Step 10
Pull some cotton balls into wispy threads, and glue them around the bottom of the gourd to form a beard for your Santa head.
-
Step 11
Paint a pink mouth onto your Santa head. You can place some cotton balls around the mouth to form a mustache if you like.
-
Step 12
Display your Santa head gourd on top of your table or other surface around your home.
