Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Alarm kit with vehicle wiring adaptors
  • Zip ties
  • Drill
  • Screwdrivers
  1. Step 1

Read the alarm's manual carefully and lay out the parts to ensure everything has been included. Open the hood and remove the positive battery cable. Connect the alarm's power wire to the positive battery cable and route the wire carefully to the driver side of the firewall.

  2. Step 2

Mount the alarm siren in an open area of the engine bay facing the engine or firewall. Pull the wires along the body to the right side of the firewall. Drill a hole in the firewall, directly in front of the steering wheel and feed the wires into the cabin.

  3. Step 3

Reach under the dash and locate the power and siren wires. Connect them to the alarm control module and mount the module as far into the dash as possible with zip ties. Secure the shock sensor into position per the manufacturer's instructions and connect the leads to the control module.

  4. Step 4

Locate the door lock relay, if equipped, and connect the alarm power lock module. Drill a small hole in the dash or center console for the LED light. Snap in the LED light and connect the wires to the control module.

  5. Step 5

Identify the starter wire in the ignition harness inside the steering wheel column. Attach the start disable relay and connect it to the control module. Reconnect the positive battery cable and test the alarm. Adjust the sensitivity level and secure loose wires with zip ties.
