Instructions

    • 1

Read the alarm manual carefully and ensure you have all of the required parts. Open the hood and disconnect the positive battery cable. Connect the alarm power wire to the positive battery cable and run the wire to the driver side of the firewall.

    • 2

Mount the alarm siren in the engine bay, pointing towards the engine to limit water exposure while driving. Run the wires to meet the power wire and feed them into the cabin. Drill a new hole in the firewall if there isn't room in the existing entry points.

    • 3

Remove the lower dash panel for easier access and secure the alarm control module as far into the dash as possible. Mount the shock sensor per the alarm instructions and run the wire to the control manual.

    • 4

Connect the power lock module to the power lock relay above the fuse box on the Durango. Connect the wire to the control module. Drill a small hole in a highly visible area of the dash for the LED light and secure it in place.

    • 5

Open the steering wheel column by removing the screws below the column. Identify the starter wire in the ignition harness and attach the start disable relay. Connect the relay to the control module and install any additional equipment. Make any final connections to the alarm control module.

    • 6

Reconnect the positive battery cable and test the alarm functions. Adjust the sensitivity level as desired and secure any loose wires with zip ties.
